Age Limits for Airforce Group Y/ Medical Assistant Airmen Intake Notification 2026
Age limits will be considered as per Indian Airforce Rules
- Medical Assistant trade (10+2): An unmarried candidate must be born between 01 January 2006 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive)
- Medical Assistant trade (Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy):
- An Unmarried candidate must be born between 01 January 2003 and 01 January 2008 (both dates inclusive)
- A Married candidate must be born between 01 January 2003 and 01 January 2006 (both dates inclusive)
- Upper Age Limit : 21 Years

Indian Airforce Group Y/ Medical Assistant Airmen Intake Recruitment 2026: Vacancy and Eligibility Details

| Indian Airforce Group Y/ Medical Assistant Airmen Intake | Medical Assistant Trade: Candidates must have passed 10+2 / Intermediate or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English securing at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, or completed a two-year vocational course with non-vocational subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) with the same minimum marks from a recognized board. Medical Assistant Trade (Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy) : Candidates must have passed 10+2 / Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English securing at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, and also possess a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% aggregate marks along with valid registration from the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). |
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
- For candidates up to the age of 21 Years 1.6 Km run to be completed within 7 minutes
- For candidates above 21 years of age and holding Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy 1.6 Km run to be completed within 7 minutes 30 Seconds
- Height : Minimum 152.5 cms
- Cycling Should be well proportioned and well developed with the minimum range of expansion of 5 cms
- Hearing : Candidate should have normal hearing i.e able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately
- Weight : Proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF
- Dental : Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points
- Visual Standards : 6/36 each eye, correctable to 6/9 each eye Maximum limits of Refractive Error Not exceeding + 3.50D including Astigmatism
